Counselling

Taking the first step toward emotional wellbeing can feel daunting, yet it is also a powerful act of self-care. Whether you're navigating personal change, relationship difficulties, family challenges, or the lasting impact of past experiences, you deserve support that feels safe, understanding, and genuinely compassionate.

"You can't change the past, but you can change the future by starting from where you are." — C.S. Lewis

About the practice

A grounded, relational therapeutic approach

Claudelle Shaw

At Claudelle Shaw Counselling, you are met with respect, empathy, and care. I offer a calm, confidential space where individuals and couples can explore what may be holding them back, gain insight into their emotions, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Life transitions - such as relationship breakdowns, career changes, parenthood, grief, or trauma - can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from yourself. You may notice persistent worry, racing thoughts, emotional exhaustion, or uncertainty about what comes next. These experiences are deeply human, and you don't have to face them alone.

My client-centred approach is grounded in collaboration, understanding, and evidence-based support. Working together at your pace, we focus on building resilience, rebuilding trust in yourself, and developing practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

The aim is not just to cope, but to help you reconnect with your authentic self, feel empowered in your choices, and create a life that feels balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values - now and into the future.

Evidence based modalities

Claudelle draws from established therapeutic frameworks. The methods used are selected based on your needs, preferences, and goals.
